How to list Amazon products with multiple Product IDs

Modified on Thu, 11 Jul at 12:50 PM

When listing products on Amazon, providing accurate Product IDs is essential. This is how Amazon determines if there is already an existing ASIN/ISBN in their catalog or if you can create new ones for your items.

M2E Pro allows you to specify Product IDs for Amazon items at a global level under Configuration > Settings > Main

However, there are times when you still need to specify the Product ID at the Listing level. For example, if you sell the same product under different brands on different marketplaces. In this case, your product will most likely have several UPC/EAN codes and may be listed under multiple ASINs.

In version 1.64.0, M2E Pro made an improvement allowing you to set product IDs at the Listing level. You can assign Product IDs during listing creation or under Listings > Items > Edit Settings > Selling > Product Identifiers. Please note that Product ID settings adjusted at the Listing level will override any previously configured global settings.
