How to use Synch and Advanced Rules

Modified on Wed, 3 Jan at 2:59 PM

M2E Pro Listings are updated according to Synchronization Rules that you can configure in the related Policy settings.

Here is a short guide on how to use Synch Rules and Advanced Conditions.

Step 1. Create/edit Synch Policy

Go to eBay/Amazon/Walmart > Configuration > Policies tab to create a new Synch Policy or edit the existing one.

Step 2. Set Conditions

Synch Policy is divided into four sections by the main M2E Pro Actions.

In each section, you will find a list with Conditions.

Specify the conditions for each action.

Products will be automatically listed/relisted/revised/stopped on a Channel according to the conditions. List and Relist actions will be triggered once all the specified conditions are met. Stop action will work even if one of the conditions is met.

In our documentation, you’ll find detailed info about each Synch Condition.

Step 3. Customize Rules via Advanced Conditions

You can also use Advanced Conditions to create flexible Synch rules fitting even the most custom cases.

Advanced Rules allow you to create Synchronization Conditions using your custom Magento attributes. Let’s look at the example.

Imagine you have a special Attribute called ‘List to eBay (Amazon/Walmart)’ which should be set to ‘Yes’ to allow the Product to be listed on Channel. Also, you want Products to be listed only if the Price is greater than 1.

Enable Advanced Conditions and choose the attributes using a dropdown list.

In our case, Advanced Conditions for the List Rules will be the following:

We set the ALL option since we want Products to have all the specified attributes to be listed on the Channel.

For example, this product will be listed as it fits the conditions.

On the other hand, the product below won’t be listed, as one of the conditions isn’t met.

In case you need products to be listed even when one of the conditions is met, choose ANY.

After you configure all conditions, don’t forget to Save the Policy.
