Starting with M2E Pro version 1.38.0, there is a whole new approach to Amazon ASIN management in M2E Pro. We’ve listened to our users’ feedback on the Amazon Description policy feature, and fully overhauled the processes of new ASIN creation and update trying to bring it as close as possible to the way it’s handled in Amazon Seller Central.
Before you start using the new version, please carefully read through the points below to learn more about the main updates.
Amazon Description Policy
With the new Amazon Product Type feature, there is no need to provide product information by configuring a Description Policy, the feature has been removed.
To list new ASINs or update details on those that you created previously, please create a Product Type and assign it to your Products in M2E Pro Listings.
New ASIN creation
When listing products under newly created ASINs, it is essential to create and apply Product Types (Amazon Integration > Configuration > Product Types) to ensure ongoing synchronization and seamless updating of your product details.
Auto Add/Remove rules
If you have Auto Add/Remove rules configured for your M2E Pro Listings and they include the new ASIN creation condition, please reconfigure the rules to use Amazon Product Type instead of a Description Policy.

Amazon Shipping Templates
Previously, to map your seller shipping template for an item, entering the right shipping template name was enough. After MWS API was replaced with the new SP-API, the mechanism of uploading a shipping template changed and has been updated in M2E Pro accordingly.
To continue using your Amazon Shipping Templates for your items, please configure them in your M2E Pro anew. Despite the technical updates introduced to the way the shipping templates are mapped on Amazon, we still made it possible for you to just select the right Shipping Template name in the M2E Pro interface.

Variational Products
Following the update, you may notice that your Variational Products are missing their Variation Theme. To ensure that M2E Pro synchronizes the product details for these products correctly, you must configure Product Types for them and reset the Variation Theme.
Follow the steps in this guide to do it. |
Until this is done, M2E Pro will only update the price and quantity for your Variational Products.
