Variation Theme is not set. Please assign a Product Type to the Item first and then select the Variation Theme.

If you've recently installed or upgraded your M2E Pro to version 1.38.0 or higher, you may receive an error message that says "Variation Theme is not set. Please assign a Product Type to the Item first and then select the Variation Theme".

To resolve this issue, you need to complete two easy steps:

1. Assign the Product Type to the Variational Product.
2. Re-set the Variation Theme.

Assign the Product Type

1. Navigate to Amazon Integration > Listings > M2E Pro.

2. Select the Listing with Variational Products and switch to the Settings View Mode.

3. Tick the products of similar type and select Assign Product Type from the Actions drop-down.

4. Select the proper Product Type or create a new one.

Re-set the Variation Theme

1. Navigate to Amazon Integration > Listings > M2E Pro.

2. Select the Listing with Variational Products that already have a Product Type set.

3. Make sure you are in the Amazon View Mode.

4. Сlick Manage Variations next to the relevant Product.

5. Select the Variation Theme in the drop-down and click Confirm.
